Sales Floor Lead – Full Time
\*\*Note\*\* The successful candidate for this position will have the desired ambition, skill, and opportunity to grow into an assistant manager role with additional responsibilities.
Position Summary
The Sales Floor Lead is responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service, while achieving sales goals, by listening to their needs, and then sharing product knowledge in such a way that helps the customer achieve their desired outcome with their project.
* Major Responsibilities
* Be the #1 Champion for excellent customer service
* Know the stores products and effectively communicate their application relevant to customer needs.
* Mix paint and maintain paint machine
* · Make key copies.
* · Run cash register / Point of Sale systems
* · Maintain accurate inventory
* · Provide input and assist with merchandising decisions, product location, and resets
* · Execute weekly price changes
* · Be proficient in all store technology (POS Systems, Paint Systems)
* · Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment
* · Resolve any customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
* · Open / close the store
Minimum Requirements
* Education/Training: High School degree, some college preferred.
Must possess a basic understanding of hardware store products and the ability to effectively talk through their application with customers.
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
* · Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks with a high degree of attention to detail
* · Strong ability to know / learn retail computer systems.
* Must be enthusiastic and committed to both personal development and our stores success.

* Must be able to lift 50 pounds
* Move and handle boxes of merchandise as needed.
