Cashier/Customer Service

Guns Unlimited in Omaha has a full time Cashier position open working with a 50 year old locally owned and operated company.
As a Cashier you would be a key service provider to our customers.
Ultimately, you’ll ensure all transactions run smoothly and help us maximize customer satisfaction.
To be successful in this role you must have previous experience in a customer service position, knowledge of how cash registers operate, general computer knowledge and a neat and clean appearance is a must! You must be available to work every Saturday as part of your regular 5-day work schedule.
Working hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
*Basic Responsibilities* * Manage transactions with customers using cash registers * Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate * Collect payments whether in cash or credit * Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets * Greet customers when entering or leaving the store * Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas * Assist in keeping retail area organized *Requirements and skills* * Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales * Basic PC knowledge * Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS * Good communication and time management skills * Customer satisfaction-oriented * High school degree * Extremely dependable * Neat and clean appearance Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
