Kontempo is a high performing salon in Omaha, and we are looking for our next Salon Manager.
The Salon Manager’s main focus is to provide excellent customer service, support the Sales Desk team and all Artists and optimize day-to-day operations by taking ownership of salon initiatives and goals.
*JOB DESCRIPTION *
*Sales Desk Coordination*
* Creates and manages Sales Desk team schedule including time off and shift swaps
* The first point of contact for Sales Desk team call in’s and is responsible for coordinating coverage
*Sales Desk Leadership & Training*
* Responsible for training and leading all Sales Desk team members
* Responsible for training all artist Assistants on the Sales Desk
* Maintains Sales Desk training in Assistant Program Syllabus
* Maintain Operations Manual and training guides
* Manage Sales Desk hiring process including job posts, candidate vetting, phone interviews and scheduling final interview with Kirby
*Administrative *
* Manages all artists appointments and calendars
* Daily tickets, spreadsheets and trackers
* Payroll
* Manages the annual salon calendar including holidays, meetings and classes
* Manages time off submission from Artists and Sales Desk team
* Manages education fund
*Leadership *
* Attends weekly L10 Meetings
* Actively adds to-do’s, headlines and issues in the working L10 document
* Provides solutions to issues and communicates to the rest of the team
* Is forthcoming with ideas and to heighten guest experience and team excitement and engagement
* Manages team appreciation initiatives including birthdays and employment milestones
*Retail Sales Leader*
* Creates and leads retail sales initiatives
* Sets an example for the Sales Desk team by upselling retail to guests
* Sends a text to each artist with cumulative Sales and RTS every Tuesday
* Communicates retail initiatives and promotions with marketing / social media manager
*Inventory Management*
* Manages product and retail inventory and ordering
* Provides monthly reports on top 5 best selling products and presents at L10 Meeting
* Manages par system for retail including creating and distributing quarterly audit report
*Software Expert & Pioneer*
* Thoroughly seeks education and understands the capabilities of the salon POS and scheduling software.
* Is a leader in paperless initiatives and contactless checkout

*REQUIRED SKILLS*
* 2+ years in a salon, spa or similar setting in an administrative role
* Experience with G-suite
*COMPENSATION*
* Starts at $20 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39,281.
00 - $41,363.
