Position Description
We are looking for a passionate, service-driven individual to join the Partnership 4 Kids team as an AmeriCorps Service Member.
Partnership 4 Kids (P4K) offers Omaha youth a solid foundation for lifelong success, stewarding them through critical academic transitions and preparing them to successfully achieve higher education and financial stability.
It is our mission to engage and inspire students from preschool to graduation, guiding them to success with individualized support, career exploration, and scholarships.
Partnership 4 Kids maintains satellite offices on both the Metropolitan Community College and University of Nebraska Omaha campuses.
These satellite offices place service members in the heart of Omaha where they can work closely with their students.
P4K is hiring for a Student Success Coach - AmeriCorps Member.
This AmeriCorps Service Member will complete an 11-month assignment with a biweekly living allowance valued at $1,252.

The position will provide career advising and retention support to P4K students to increase academic program persistence, graduation rates, and career readiness.
The position will help youth achieve academic success through case management and program supports.
AmeriCorps members are eligible to receive an education award valued at $6,950.
00 upon completion of their term of service.

Responsibilities
Provide case management and interventions to promote student success
Coordinate college and career experiences
Plan and implement curriculum workshops and programming activities
Connect students to scholarships, tutoring, financial aid, and resources to support educational attainment
Assist with student transportation and connection with community resources as needed
Position Requirements
Work or volunteer experience with youth populations
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Proven ability to build positive relationships with diverse populations
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Eligibility Requirements
At least two years of college credits or the equivalent of an Associate’s degree
High school diploma
Hold one of the following citizenship or legal residency statuses: US citizen, US National, Lawful Permanent Resident (i.
e.
, Green Card status), and persons legally residing within a state.
