Mind and Metrics Branding Website Developer & Designer Full time position: 40 hour per week FLSA Status: Non-exempt Reports to Digital Branding & Marketing Specialist Mind and Metrics Branding is seeking a full time Website Developer and Designer to be cross functional within website creation, management, and SEO optimization across various heavy industrial companies.
Essential Functions: Frequently use hands and talk/hear Frequently read from a computer screen Work in a quiet office setting or in loud areas with dirt and dust Ability to see color Ability to utilize, Microsoft Office, and various editing software Capable to sit in a desk chair for several hours in a working day Physically use your eyes to read computer monitor for several hours in a working day Occasionally be near machinery Written and verbal communication skills Reasoning, math, and language Make independent judgements Occasional travel Job Description: Front- End Development Develop interactive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and Java Script, ensuring seamless navigation and optimal user experience Back-End Development Build robust and scalable back-end systems using programming languages such as PHP, python or Ruby on Rails, integrating databases and other server-side functionalities to support websites features and functionalities SEO Optimization Incorporate search engine optimization best practices into website design and development to improve visibility and ranking on search engine results pages Cross-Functional Collaboration Must be able to work closely with marketing and design to align website design and development with overall business strategies Brainstorm ideas, share feedback, and drive project success Quality Assurance Thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve any issues or bugs ensure website functionality, performance and security Stay Updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in web design and development.
