ISYS Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer Level 2 Job Description: Individual will be working on the development of a new system prototype which enables situation monitoring and decision support for senior civilian and military leadership.
Provide web-based application development for a new mission-critical prototype that integrates multiple authoritative data sources, displays graphical visualizations, and rapid decision support capabilities.
Possible ability to work from home for part of the workweek.
Plans, coordinates, and conducts software development activities.
Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in a computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment.
Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the software development life cycle.
Applies knowledge to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.
Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
Clearance: CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS SECRET CLEARANCE TO START, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI Qualifications: Experience: Requirements: 0 - 2 years' experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in the field or related area Experience in software development using agile processes.
Experience with new development using JavaScript, Java/C#, and Python Experience using WSDL and REST interfaces.
Desired: Experience with interfaces to authoritative data sources related to critical infrastructure, nuclear planning, and missile defense.
