Job Title Software Development Engineer, Sr.
A Software Development Engineer, Sr.
designs, develops, tests, installs, and maintains systems, applications, networks, and related processes to meet the functional objectives of the business.
Assesses system, application, and network needs, provides modeling and simulation consulting to clarify client technology functionality, and evaluates and implement new advanced technologies.
Ensures adherence to established technology standards and consults with senior leadership on technology solutions.
Supports existing systems and is responsible for leading technical aspects of a project.
Responsible for assigning resources and delegating tasks to meet project deliverables.
Job Duties Project Coding and Quality Assurance Assisting in project analysis and discovery Performing technical solution designs Performing individual development tasks Assisting in unit, integration, QA, and regression testing as needed Tier 3 Support Performing production defect troubleshooting and resolution Assisting the Customer Service and Implementation teams with routine or emergency client support tasks (triage) Carrying an on-call phone for designated periods with guidance Opening internal and external (vendor) tickets to assist in problem resolution Participating in all-hands daily meetings as the on-call representative Escalating production support issues appropriately Providing updates to service tickets What you will need to have: Verbal and written communication – Good Experience in technologies used by product: (5+ years) Product application and infrastructure experience (5+ years) Working knowledge of SDLC standards and practices Participates in delivery of quality products and services Excellent documentation skills – technical documents, code documentation, and process documentation Working knowledge of product framework and available tools Working knowledge of PCI, OWASP, and other security standards Working knowledge of standard coding practices Working knowledge of troubleshooting and debugging methods Technology skill set (5+ years’ experience) Ÿ Microsoft Team Foundation Server, AzureDevOps, JIRA, Confluence Ÿ Microsoft Visual Studio Ÿ SQL Server, SSMS, SSIS Ÿ .
Net, JavaScript, C# Ÿ Microsoft Office 365 and Visio Ÿ Microsoft Teams Ÿ AzureDevOps pipeline deployment Ÿ Azure Cloud Would be nice to have: Education: Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience Financial Industry experience (5+ year) Computer programming Software Engineering Systems Architecture Software Design Computer Networking Business writing or public speaking This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, New York or Washington.
