Position Summary: The Data & Development Coordinator at the Latino Center of the Midlands (LCM) is essential for enhancing our data systems and fundraising operations.
Tasked with managing the CRM and ensuring data accuracy, the coordinator will also partner with the Development Director and CEO to cultivate donor relationships and support fundraising strategies.
The goal is to balance technical data management with creative development efforts, thereby driving LCM’s mission forward.
An ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, strategic vision, and the ability to foster connections with supporters, directly contributing to the sustainability and growth of the organization.
Development: Working closely with the Development Director (Grant Writer) and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Data & Development Coordinator will carry out the stewardship plan for all of LCM’s fundraising and philanthropic initiatives.
The Coordinator will support the solicitation, cultivation, and stewardship of current and prospective donors in partnership with the CEO by providing research on donor histories and recording fundraising activities in the database; support capital campaigns as they arise; and conduct background research on funding sources such as grants, in-kind donations, charitable events, and marketing opportunities.
To support the development plan and successful fundraising, the Data & Development Coordinator will work closely with the communications staff to develop and guide donor-specific marketing materials, advertising, and social media campaigns.

Data management: Working closely with the Director of Programming, the Data & Development Coordinator will craft and implement a proactive, strategic development plan for all of LCM’s database and case management software initiatives.
The Coordinator will oversee and coordinate the implementation of the data management software.
This position will also focus on data reporting and developing ideal practices for data management, ensuring procedures align with agency and program standards and goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Develop and manage timelines for various fundraising activities to ensure strategic plans and critical fundraising processes are carried out in a timely manner.
* Identify and develop corporate, community and individual prospects to generate funds for the organization and support the preparation and submission of grant applications as needed and in partnership with the Grant Writer.
* In coordination with the CEO, create processes to ensure appropriate follow-up communication with donors, corporate funders and community partners; facilitate information sharing and documentation of activities within the donor management system.
* Oversee the administration of a “friends” and donors mail list and continued maintenance of the organization’s donor management platform, respecting donor privacy and confidentiality and continued stewardship of the organization’s funders and donors.
* Monitor the organization’s development budget against projections; work closely with finance staff to prepare regular reports regarding progress towards fund development goals, receipts and expenditures related to fundraising, and make recommendations regarding changes to related budgets as necessary.
* Work collaboratively with communications staff to develop a communication plan to promote the organization to its donors and actively engage in the design, printing and distribution of marketing and communication materials for all development activities.
* Maintain a master development calendar and coordinate related activities with LCM leadership and staff, promoting proactive communication and information sharing across departments, teams and programs.
* Ensures appropriate compliance requirements are met per funding agreements and applicable laws and policies.
* Responsible for the oversight of the data management software at the organization.
* Is the point of contact and liaison between the organization and external parties.
* In collaboration with the Director of Programming, will lead staff training, data entry methods,and best practices.
* Lead the development of the programming case management/reporting system.
* Conduct research, identify ideal practices, and develop strategies to optimize data management processes.
* Establishes data and reporting guidelines and protocols.
* Conduct regular assessments to ensure system procedures are effective and to ensure organization and program goals are being met.
* Participate in developing data protection and security plans, solving issues, and arranging meetings.
* Manage, review and organize highly sensitive client information, ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality at all times.
* Work with the Director of Programming and programming team to prepare and submit timely grant and organizational reports.
* Support program managers by providing accurate and timely program reports.
* Develop, implement and evaluate the LCM’s bi-annual Community Assessment.

* 1-2 years of experience writing grant proposals, managing grant projects, and fund development with related documentation, reporting, and budgets.
* 1-2 years of experience with data and case management tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with CRM and data management software administration.
* Certificate in Fundraising Management.
* 1-2 years fundraising experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CPR/First Aid Certificate; can be obtained through employer after hire.
A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance are required.
