OrthoNebraska is adding an experienced Senior Analyst, Financial Planning and Analysis to our Finance Team.
This role will be responsible for all aspects of budgeting and forecasting for the organization.
This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

Position Details/Duties:
Coordinate, prepare, complete and monitor the system-wide operating and capital budget process.
Integrate functionality of various information systems (e.
g.
, Strata, Great Plains and Cerner) into the budget monitoring and financial reporting process
Coordinate the process of allocating operating expenses by business segment, location, and department
Assist senior leadership in updating and refining the company's five year plan
Develop and deliver budget communication throughout the organization.
Identify, recommend, and execute on improved budget and forecasting methods to optimize near and long term planning and manage cash flows
Create monthly variance analysis reports for senior management and investors.
Set and track key financial performance indicators and objectives.
Develop detailed project plans and timelines to support successful execution of de novo additions and integration of acquisitions
Schedule and lead all budget meetings and activities across all key leaders and shareholders.
Analyze historical and current trends to develop and recommend budget assumptions, including but not limited to: contractual price increases, payor deductions, and inflation.
Distribute, collect, and compile budget documentation.
Ensure accuracy of data submitted to ensure budget workbooks are accurately created and contain valid volume, revenue, staffing and expense assumptions.
Critically analyze and interpret budget inputs and results to identify opportunities for revenue generation and profit improvement.
Compile, analyze and interpret data to create meaningful reports and analyses for leadership presentation and decisions.
Design, develop and analyze queries, dashboards, and reports as requested.
Perform actual budget variance analysis.
Prepare and deliver presentations, analysis, and reports as requested.
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
Provide direction, define, and develop standards, best practices, and metrics to ensure the business needs of the organization are met.
Assist in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of analytical tools for data reporting.
Comply with safety activities, policies and procedures and regulatory requirements such as OSHA and The Joint Commission
Follow established guidelines as stated in hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Position Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration, economics, finance, accounting or a related field required.
Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years planning & analysis experienced in finance, financial budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting required.
Previous experience in financial budgeting and reporting in healthcare preferred.
Experience with the financial reporting system Strata preferred.
