Mainframe Assembler

Title: Mainframe Assembler Location: Omaha, NE Duration: Long Term 5-6 yrs candidate works here.
Initially they have to be Omaha for a month then they can work from other local Fiserv offices.
*Job Description:* *Technical Skills:* * 6+ years’ experience in Mainframe Application Development (Assembler Language).
* Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts for mainframe development (Assembler language).
* Leverages advanced / proven experience in the Assembler programming language across large and complex implementations and systems.
* Advanced experience in the required technical subject matter (Assembler programming language).
* Hands-on Assembler Development and enhancement experience n Mainframe environment * Mandatory to have ability to extract business knowledge from Mainframe assembler code.
* Abel to explain assembler functionality to Java team who migrate assembler code to open system.
* WFO as per client requirement for all 5 days.
* Good to have relearn experience in mainframe projects.
* Java knowledge is added advantage.
* Strong ability to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specification.
* Writing and executing the unit test scenarios/cases to ensure the code migration.
* Deep understanding of all lifecycle components of migration projects * Ability to present designs to peers and Product Owner for approval.
* Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills * Card domain experience is a plus.
Job Type: Contract Salary: $45.
