SOFTWARE ENGINEER DISTRIBUTED SYSTEMS

DUTIES: Designs, develops, tests, and maintains software in accordance with adopted standards for integration into larger subsystems.
Performs technical design and writes automated unit test cases to support testing.
Understands and adheres to the design model.
Writes software to implement components, services, and/or modules.
Performs unit testing of source code and works to resolve defects found while performing integration and regression tests.
Works closely with other software engineers and architects to ensure project objectives are met and frameworks are followed.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five (5) years of experience to produce and implement functional software solutions using SDLC in Agile Scrum delivery environment.
Ability to demonstrate implementation of solutions using Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, REST services, and JPA.
Ability to write and perform unit testing of the changes using modern libraries such as JUnit, Mockito, etc.
Working experience in DevOps or DevSecOps style using continuous integration and continuous development (CI & CD) and containerized environment.
