JOB SUMMARY The Software Consultant will apply technical configuration expertise on all capabilities for business operations within Sage Intacct - processes and data flow between departments, dashboards, reports, searches, data import, and integrations.
JOB DUTIES Project Services Perform functional demonstrations of software functionality.
Assist with requirements and data gathering and developing project scope and deliverables.
Participate on implementation projects from design, through configuration and implementation, to testing and go-live.
Consult on operational improvements, recognize functional gaps, and update Sage Intacct design plans.
Configure and customize the Sage Intacct application to match customer functional requirements.
Act as the technical lead for project phases, tasks and milestones.
Implement solution additions such as new modules or rolling out new operational areas.
Maintain Sage Intacct knowledge and apply technical expertise on the entire Sage Intacct ERP solution.
Provide customers with as needed consulting and enhancement assistance.
Configuration Enhancements Implement additional features and functions to improve client operations.
Provide customers with configuration and enhancement assistance.
Help with customer software usage issues.
Research and apply resolutions.
Contacts Performs daily team and client contact Administrative Completes and releases time on a daily basis.
Active participant in weekly departmental meetings.
Active participant in routine project status meetings.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
2+ years of software administration.
Deployment experience a plus.
2+ years of Sage Intacct ERP experience required.
Certification as a Sage Intacct Implementation Certified Consultant or a Sage Intacct Accounting Certified Consultant a plus.
Strong understanding of general operations across departments such as sales, service, production, projects, etc Customer facing consulting experience a plus.
Strong ability to translate customer business requirements into advanced operational solutions.
Ability to manage multiple project commitments simultaneously in a deadline focused environment and meets agreed upon timeframes.
Possesses a passion for helping customers more effectively run their businesses.
A willingness to tackle initiatives and work independently with little oversight.
Prioritizes tasks, develops effective work procedures, and manages time well.
Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
Is attentive to detail and accuracy, is committed to excellence, and looks for improvements.

Experience in healthcare, professional services, non-profit, or government a plus.
