Concentric Corporation is currently seeking a talented Business Analyst for our client in the Omaha area with a hybrid work schedule.
As a Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of our cross-functional team, working closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives, analyze processes, and recommend improvements.
You will leverage your analytical skills to gather and interpret data, identify trends, and provide insights that will guide strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with a strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving positive change.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
Executes project planning, writes user stories, performs requirements gathering, daily stand-up meetings, scrum ceremonies, sprint reviews and release planning, demos, retrospectives, and other Scrum-related meetings.
Utilize data analysis techniques to extract valuable insights, identify trends, and present findings to support decision-making.
Evaluate existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare clear and comprehensive documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user stories.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of business needs and priorities.
Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and contribute to the design of effective solutions.
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and are of high quality.
Assist in project management activities, including project planning, monitoring progress, and reporting.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in [industry/sector].
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
Familiarity with project management methodologies.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
