*How would you contribute? *As a Cyber Security Intern, you are a key to continued growth and success of Airlite.
This role is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to team members within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with IT projects, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
*Essential Duties:* * Provide frontline technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues in a manufacturing environment.
* Assist in monitoring and maintaining cybersecurity measures, including antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
* Participate in incident response activities, including analyzing security events, investigating potential threats, and assisting in remediation efforts.
* Collaborate with the IT team to develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness training sessions for employees, emphasizing best practices and potential threats.
* Assist with helpdesk tickets, prioritize tasks, and escalate security incidents or complex issues for resolution.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and incident reports to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
* Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, network enhancements, and technology deployments under the guidance of senior team members.
* Maintain accurate records, documentation, and knowledge base articles to streamline support processes and facilitate knowledge sharing within the IT team.

Successful candidates for the role will possess the following: *Essential Duties:* * Currently pursuing a degree in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science or related field.
* Strong interest in technology and manufacturing.
* Basic understanding of computer hardware and troubleshooting techniques.
* Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as antivirus software, firewalls, and SIEM solutions.
* Capability to utilize problem solving skills.
* Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects/activities/goals.
* Must be able to work well with others, build partnerships and support team members.
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and tactful in dealing with people at all levels.
