Our Database Developer Interns will learn aspects of developing implementation documentation which may include data sources, data diagrams, and other data movement processes.
Discover how to write code for database access, modifications, and constructions including stored procedures.
Work side by side with other developers as they develop SQL queries in the creation of business applications and SQL reports from corporate data sources.
You will be challenged and provided with tremendous growth opportunities, learning the primary responsibilities of various application development positions, and collaborating with various teams.
Here are a few things you’ll be doing as a Database Developer Intern:
Explore Database Design, Development and Deployment - Analyze, design and implement sound database schemas.
Learn the steps of Data Movement - Implement plans and procedures that automate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data processes and analysis.
Gain understanding of SQL Reporting - Assist in developing, generating, and distributing SQL reports in support of line-of-business production systems and ad-hoc decision support needs.
Assist with Testing - Work with software development project teams to develop and execute testing procedures for database enhancements and data corrections.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or similar degree preferred
Minimum of 3.
0 GPA on a 4.
0 scale
Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
Available for a 12-week internship during summer of 2024

Qualified interns will receive a competitive hourly wage and $500 sign-on bonus
